This year, my company had the honor to create the jewelry for the 2014 Coronation of the Queen of the Order of the Alamo... which is a big deal in this part of Texas. The creations for these debutantes,, their dresses, along with their embellished trains are planned years in advance. They are embellished with gorgeous crystals, beads, and gemstones. This year's theme featured Texas themes. I designed a gorgeous hand-set crystal necklace with a stunning Czech crystal medallion. Then faceted champagne droplets of crystal creating a vintage-inspired look were set to cascade around the neckline. The earrings were a starburst of crystal with multi cascading drops of crystal layered. I want to thank this year's Queen, Mallory Sparr, for being a beautiful model for Carroll Dorsey Walker designs..... I also made her fab red coral, crystal, czech swag chandelier earrings that she sported to the Queen's Ball.
